Vuescan version 8.1.13 raw files not working?

Tried the latest Vuescan, version 8.1.13. I live in hope that the
cleaning will improve, using Vuescan with my Elite 5400, and one of the
claimed improvements relating to cleaning of scratches.

With this version, a saved raw file seems not to work for
scan-from-disk. Tried restarting Vuescan a few times, no luck. Also,
other previously created raw files in same directory work ok.
Anyone have similar experience?

Same problem here with my Scan Dual IV. 8.1.13 cannot process its own
raws. The raws made with the previous version are fine. It must have
to do with the addes EXIF info in the version .13 raws. I stay with
..12 for the time being.

Same problem here. VueScan 8.1.15 & Minolta Multi Pro. When trying to scan
from disk, VueScan sees the raw file as 1x1 pixels, 200dpi and 0MB, although
the file actually is over 200MB and I can read it with other programs.

So this bug has survived through two subsequent versions to 8.1.13,
rendering Vuescan more-or-less useless, if you use scan-from-disk
workflow.

Ed, know you're not posting, but are you at least reading?

Ed released version 8.1.16 and it can read my raw files produced with
8.1.15!

Folks,

Had similar problems and sent trouble report to (e-mail address removed).
Please all of you do the same
so Ed can understand and fix these issues. Don't count on him to read
it here!
