Vuescan and Photoshop CS

Daniel Masse

I have set Photoshop as the default viewer to view scanned .tif images. But
I get an error message : incorrect format. Yet, I have no problem to load
the scanned image manually into PS...

Did I miss a setting in Vuescan ?

Thanks !

It's been like that for me for several years. I don't know the cause.

I wouldn't be suprised if this is just another photoshop bug.

If it worked previously, may be you should try to delete photoshop
preferences file. This helped for me in a similar case (was a hint from
adobe forums).

On Windows you should find the file somewhere in your "Documents and
Settings" hierarchy. Just search for "Adobe Photoshop CS Prefs.psp" and
rename it prior to start of photoshop. Be aware: you loose all unsaved
actions and the palette locations. Save the latter to a workspace if
you want to keep them.

I suggest you go to adobe forums and search or ask there. And / or
write a bug report to adobe...
