vpn disconnect

I have established a vpn to my workplace win2k server.
I am running winxp pro and connecting via dsl.
However, after one to two minutes, it disconnects.
While connected, I can browse resources and connect to
our as/400, using ibm client access software.

Any help appreciated.

Make sure that you don't have any "idle disconnect" settings configured
either on the local VPN connection or on the RAS server.
