Voice Comments in Word 2007

I have finally located the 'Insert Voice' button and added to the quick
launch toolbar to access voice comments. However, it does not perform the
function of recording a voice comment as the Microsoft Help documentation
suggests. A dialog box appears with the header 'Create Package' is received
and asks for a filename. In previous versions of Word, a record function
appears. How can I make this happen in 2007?

I have the same problem. I've used this feature successfully with Word 07 on
a regular PC running XP. Now, on my Vista tablet PC this Word feature is
giving me the same "Create Package" message. I don't know what that means or
what to do with it.

This is the same problem that I'm having under Windows 7 32bit. Is the
problem due to Windows 7? It would be a loss of great functionality. Does
anyone know how to link that button to the new sound recorder in Windows 7.
