Vista presentation under XP

I've got many mixed sequences of photos and clips from my digital camera
showing names such as dscf1234.jpg, dscf1235.jpg, dscf1236.avi,
dscf1237.jpg and so on and I'd like to play them in the same sequence i.e.
to show a .jpg and then to play a .avi and so on
Now I've found that Vista presentation is exactly what I want but is it
possible to run it under WinXP? Where is the related sw?

I'm guessing you are using Windows Live Photo
Gallery on your Vista machine? Maybe it would
work for you on your XP machine.

Windows Live Photo Gallery
http://download.live.com/photogallery
(FWIW...if you cancel the first download...you will
see 'Try Again' this will allow you to download the
complete file to your hard drive instead of just the
installer. Also...be sure to uncheck the components
that you do not wish tio install.)

Or...you might find the freeware Picasa to be
worth a try:

ok you're right I realized Windows Live Photo Gallery is invoked when
doubleclicking on the first file. Now I use WLPG also under WinXP and I
found a difference with Vista: by manually advancing, videoclips are
correctly played in mixed sequences, while by invoking presentation
videoclips are ignored. In the contrary with Vista this works
any ideas?
