As your 6 duplicate posts show, you really shouldn't be trying out
experimental operating systems. Stick with your XP operating system. Beta
means for experienced users only and only for use on a non essential
computer.

the "6 duplicate posts" is a common problem. Microsofts web-based newsreader
often tells people that their post didn't go through, even when it did.
several people have reported problems using the product key. the only
solution anybody has had success with is to check the md5 sum of the iso to
make sure the download was not corrupted, and re-burn the DVD (at 1x).

Verify that md5 sum is ok.

You could also try to get a new key, since every one can get upto two keys.
I burned my DVDs at 8x and then 4x. And they both worked fine, except for
once.
