virtual memory

I have just installed a program learn to play guitar,it installed fine but
when i start the program it comes up with a box Director player 6.0
and below is This program requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to
run. running xp pro with 1024 memory. On virtual memory total page file size
is 1918MB.tried the vendor web site it is rubish.
