Virtual memory settings

I constantly get a message asking me to setup my virtual
memory specifications on my windows 2000 workstation. I
make the changes (I have administrator rights) and re-boot
the system. I keep on getting the messages back again and
again and the virtual memory settings are restored to 20
MB on my main disk. NOTE: there is about 1.5 GB of disk
space left. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Jules,
This could be occurring due to a corrupted paging file (pagefile.sys). For
specifics on clearing the pagefile, refer to Knowledge Base article 182086:
