Virtual Java Machine

ok here is my prob.. maybe someone has a quick fix i cant
find.

i go to a page with java.. it says i need to update
virtual java machine to view this page correctly. soo of
course i click Download. that takes me to a microsoft web
page that says this

"We're sorry. The page you are viewing requires that you
have a more recent version of the Microsoft Virtual
Machine on your system. To obtain an updated version of
the Microsoft Virtual Machine, please go to Windows
Update."

so i looked around windows update.. nothing. any ideas?

Any help would be appriciated! THANKS!

I suggest you get your Java from Sun:
