Virtual Driver Problems

T

Tony

Ok, now recently ive been unable to run a program
without
"CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers. VDD.
Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid"

Ive been to
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;314452
and ive followed the instructions, only now nothing
happens when i try and run a program.

Is it anything to do with the "Command.com" as i am not
sure what to do with it.

Make sure you only have one command.com. Search and check this is the only one
C:\WINDOWS\system32\command.com

You probably have fixed the problem. Your app may not work on XP as XP can't use 16 bit vxds. So if your app MUST have this file, tough luck.
