Hope MS MVP can look at this: Trying to run a DOS program that ran fine
a few days ago and now this error message; "Virtual Device Driver in
registry is invalid". I followed MS KB 314452 to the letter with no
results. First KB states that the registry last entry is \virtual device
driver\VDD. Mine has no "VDD". I could not delete the existing line
which is "Default REG_SZ (value not set)". I entered the new string
as directed. I now get error message "C:\windows\sys32\autoexec.NT. sys
file not suitable for running MS-DOS & MS windows applications. Close
to terminate". Still cannot run the program and some others as well.
Hope there is a solution to this.
