Viewing News Groups

Hello Guys, Can i use Outlook 2003 to view News Groups. At the Moment i am using Outlook express

When i add a new command to view News to the Go menu, the icon dissapears when i reopen outlook. Can Some one tell me how to save it there please?

No. Outlook is not a news reader.
To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

You can view newsgroups within Outlook if you use a 3rd party "add-in".
My company provides one: www.shorelinesoftware.com.

There are a couple of others as well, and a list may be found at
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olexpr.htm. Far as I know we all have
trial versions for download so it might be something you want to take a
look at.
