View my stored pictures

Hi
Could you please tell me how i can view my pictures that i have taken with
my camera and stored on my pc in preview mode, I have about 40 pictures
stored on my pc which i have taken and downloaded onto my computer, i could
up until yesterday view them all in preview mode now i cannot i have to
double click on one picture at a time in order to see it, where as before i
could see them all as thumbnails click on one particluar photo, and then if
i wished click the right arrow button to see the next or the left arrow
button to see the previous one, this i can no longer do as the other half
wanted to e-mail so pictures of the kids to family while i was at work and
some how, she has made a hash of it. Could anyone please advise, i know i
waffled on for ages, many thanks and best wishes to you all out there.

Right-click the folder, click Properties, Customize tab, in the top
pane, change the folder type.
