slide show from my pictures

Hi
Please could you tell me how i can create a slide show from the pictures i
have stored in my pc. as my pc will not let me it will not let me view my
pictures in preview mode to view a picture i have to double click it, then
come out and double click if i wont to view another of my pictures. the wife
got muddled trying to send an attachment in an e-mail. and now the
thumbnails to my pictures are now blank where as before they where not.
Please advise

When you say the thumbs are "blank" do you
mean you see "Icons" instead? What happens
if you go to...View / Thumbnails?

Anyway...if you open a folder that contains
images...My Pictures...for example...
do you see the "Picture Tasks" pane on the
left of the window? "View as a slide show"
is the top choice.

If you see your 'Folders' in the left pane...left
click the "Folders" button on your taskbar to
open the "Picture Tasks" pane.

If you do not see either one...go to...
Tools / Folder Options / General tab...
tick..."Show Common Tasks In Folders" /
Apply / OK"
