video streaming

Hi,

I can't seem to watch online video streaming on Media Player 10. I used to
get an error msg. I removed and reinstalled Windows Media Player 10 and now I
don't get anything at all. I click on an online video and I get nothing.
However, after installation of media player 10, there was an error msg saying
installation was not complete. I tried a few times and I seem to get the same
msg installation error and incomplete. My media player can play most of my
videos but won't play .wmv and won't play online streaming video. Help please.

Can I uninstall Windows Media Player 10:

Try uninstall, reinstall.

I tried reinstalling a few times but I keep getting this Error Signature:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 89e99140

How do I resolve this problem?

If you are reinstalling from a new copy, from windows update, I would try SFC.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
