Installed a win 95-98 game in "compatibility mode." the screen just shows
bands of color and the sound is choppy. Is there any way to correct this? I
have tried changing the video acceleration settings, but no dice.Have 512
RAM, 2.66Ghz,128Mb ATI Radeon 9800.
Thx for your help.

In Compatibility Mode, have you accounted for the display properties which
the game needs, i.e., 640x480 and 16-bit (in some cases)? If that doesn't
help, you may want to try uninstalling the game, then install using
Compatibility Mode from the very beginning.

Thanx for yr suggestion-Yes I have tried compatibility mode from beginning in
640X480-I don't see where it says "16 bit" tho.

It may not even be 16-bit. Sorry for that. You may need to run the
game in 256-color mode.
