Video and Music

I have some film clips and also some music recorded by my family. I would
like to burn these seperately onto one CD or DVD so that my family can either
view the film or listen to the music on a PC or TV. Is this possible?

"Film" has become a pretty generic term these days. Are you talking about
*actual* film, like 8 or 16mm?

And the music is recorded on what? Cassette? Reel to reel?

Sure is. You could even insert the music and have it play in the background
while you watch the film clips.

The audio should be relatively easy to do, but the video could be a problem.

Post back with more specifics and we'll see where it goes.

Hello walter,

Sorry I was not explicit. ;-)

I have saved the films clips and music on my Hard Drive. Because I was
unsure which was best I saved the film clips as Mpeg2 and WMV, but I can
change to another format if required. The music is saved as Mp3 and WAV.

The idea is that the flim clip can be viewed independently from the music
and vice-versa, in an 'ideal world' via a menu. The film clip has a sound
track so I do not want music in the back ground. I want the film to be viewed
separately from the music.

So far I have successfully saved the music on one CD and the movie onto
another CD but I want to burn both onto one CD or DVD. This is proving
difficult. :-(

Regards,

RogerC
