Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to cool my Radeon 8500 with an Arctic
Cooling VGA Silencer. Has anyone tried it before?

Thank you for the help

Just finished putting such a device on my Sapphire 9800 Pro, and no more
crashes!
The package insert mentions the 9500 Pro, dunno about any previous ones.

Gross overkill and you're going to have mounting problems--the 8500 requires
that the heat sink be bonded to the chip--it doesn't have mounting holes.
I suspect that the VGA Silencer is a lot heavy to be supported by an
adhesive bond.
