Validating a signature or file that does not have a signature

I have recently updated 3 drivers - one Intel and two Realtek. Vista is now
requiring me to manually allow their access to run at startup (its not
blocking them as such just seeking permission for them to run). There is a
check box on the message box that indicates you can stop Vista from asking
this in future - but it makes no difference if I have this checked/unchecked.
Can I validate these files somehow?

Im using Ultimate and am logged in as an Administrator.

Hello,

If you are taling about the prompt that says "Open File - Security Warning:
The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this
software?"

There is a defect in Windows Vista where this checkbox will not work if the
..exe is located in a secured location (e.g. program files, windows,
system32, etc).

To solve this problem:

1) Find the .exe that it is attempting to start in explorer
2) Move the program to your desktop
3) Run the file
4) Uncheck the box on the security prompt and allow it to open
5) Close the program
6) Move the program back to its original location
