Message at startup to allow driver to run

I have recently updated 3 drivers, one from Intel and two from Realtek. As a
consequence, Vista is now asking for permission to run these programs at
startup (not as a blocked startup program but as a permission dialogue). The
Message Box includes a check box to prevent it asking you this again in
future however even though I uncheck this box it continues to ask.

Is there a mechanism available that I can get Vista to validate so I dont
have this issue in future?

Is the account you are using have Administrator priviledges? I would give
this a try, open Device Manager, right click each of the devices you suspect
to be the root cause of the prompts and scan for hardware changes. You could
also even try reinstalling the drivers from their and point to where device
drivers are located on the system.

Thanks - no new hardware - just simple updates to the drivers. Im logged in
as an administrator and have full control of the files as a consequence.

You might want reinstall the device drivers, but this time, run the setup
file by right clicking it and click 'Run as Administrator'.
