Using Wild Cards in Paramter Querry

Hello,

I have created a paramter querry. How would I use the wild cards in this
querry? Everything I read seems to state I have to go to the Design view. I
am trying to give the the use the paramater querry and then use the wildcard
without opeing up the design view and just use the application in form view.

Any idea?

In the criteria:

Like [Enter the first letters] & "*"

Do you want the users to input the wild card characters or do you just want
the wildcard characters to be added to the prompt?

To find a specified value at the beginning of the field
Criteria: Like [Find what?] & "*"

To find a specified value at the end of the field
Criteria: Like [Find what?] & "*"

To find a specified value contained in the field
Criteria: Like "*" & [Find what?] & "*"

If you want the user to enter the wild card characters and if there are none
entered then just search for a match
Criteria: Like [Find what?]
