Currency format for a querry field.

I tried applying the currency format for a querry field,
tru the propery in design mode. But still currency symbol
and two digit decimal are now showing up. Is there an
explict way to apply format in the sQL view like.
Currency(Field1) or Format.Currecncy(Field1)

Please help.

The easiest way for you to do is
in the design view
highlight the filed then right click then properties and
choose the format there

Actually I did that before and its not showing up. I said
wrongly in my previous post that its showing up., it was
a typo.

Is there any other way. or what is the reason its not
showing up.

If your field type is declared as currency in the table it will be displayed
with dollar signs and decimal places in the query results.
