USB port problem

Hey

Have an Emachine T2240 2.2 gig machine running Windows XP
and flight simulator 2002 . Don't know why but my
joystick disappeared . After reloading the software ,
The game cannot find the USB port or the Joystick , like
it just disappeared on me . When I go in and look at the
MS Precision 2 Joystick ( Software ), it does not show up
in the haerdware list but The joystick software is
loaded .

Hi Rich,

Unload the software
Reboot
Load the software again
Reboot and plug in the device
Configure it in Control Panel

Hopefully that's all it will take to resolve the issue.
I hope you're not facing a hardware problem within the stick.
