Upnp won't detect devices

Hello,
I have a XP Media Center 2005 machine that just recently stop detecting my
router and media player(Soundbridge M1001) . They both used to show as Upnp
devices but now I cannot see them. In WMP11 I have sharing turned on but no
devices are there. I have tried uninstalling the services and reinstalling
but nothing seems to work. I do have Norton Internet Security but like I said
it used to work but something has happend recently but I'm not sure what.
Where do I start?

EDIT P.S.
I forgot to mention the reason this all came about was becasue I can no
longer play music on my media player because it does not see the computer
anymore. Also, I have tried getting it to work with windows firewall enabled
and disabled but no luck.
