Upgrade video card

I am using a Dell Dimensions 8250 computer and would like to upgrade my
video/graphic card to one more powerful. If I upgrade will it cause problems
in other programs?

It shouldn't do. The only problem that you may encounter is that the Power
Supply Unit may not be of sufficient wattage to power the upgraded card.
