Upgrade from Outlook Express 5.0 to 6.0

Last night I upgraded from Outlook Express 5.0 to Outlook
Express 6.0 and while my contact information I had stored
in 5.0 was successfuly transferred, all of my old folders,
emails and other information is nowhere to be found. Does
anybody have any ideas if this information can be
recovered, or is it lost forever? I'm currently running
Windows '98 on my home Compaq PC.

If I remember correctly, the files you seek are dbx files
(inbox.dbx, outbox.dbx, etc... one for each folder, and
also a folders.dbx, you may also see a pop3uidl.dbx).
These contain all your emails & folders. Exactly how to
get them imported into your Lookout Express 6, is a
different story, (I've never tried it before, maybe
someone reading this could jump in and help out at this
point).
