How do I import my Outlook Express 5.0 email to Outlook 2003?

I have a large archive of Outlook Express 5.0 email from my old computer. How
do I export these to Outlook 2003? I tried "Exporting" from Outlook Express,
but I could not find the files it exported (it does not let you pick a
location). I tried copying the .dbx files to my new computer and then asking
Outlook 2003 to import them, but when I show it the location, a quick popup
occurs and shutsdown too quick to read, and then nothing happens.

Any advice?

I think I need a little more detail. I am moving email from my work computer
to my home computer, both Outlook. I would like to put it in a file and copy
to a disk and then import at home. What file extension should I use? Can I
import so all the emails are still accessible individually?

thanks,
Melinda

All you do is go to file/ import export/ then choose what you want to do. Its
really easy. And it will move all of your emails/folders/rules/and accounts
over.
hope that helps.
