Trouble importing messages from Outlook Express 6.0 to Outlook 2000

I cannot import any messages from my "Sent Items" folder
that were created after I upgraded to OE 6.0. In fact,
the Import wizard in OL 2000 does not even acknowledge
anything but OE 4.0 and 5.0 versions. Any help?!
