Using XP, Home. Installed Defender Beta 2, Everything seemed to go OK except
kept getting Defender Upgrade notices on Windows One Care. Tried to Upgrade,
but continued to get require update notices on One Care each time I reboted.

Fnally reinstalled Defender and this time could not even upgrade to latest
version. Main window gave notice that upgrade needed, and Defender reported
upgrade sucessful, clicked on upgrade button, but after "upgrade" was
complete message still there, rebooted, still there. One Care reported
everyting OK, Green.

Any suggestions?????

Try the Resolution in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=915105 & reboot the
machine.
