UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME error STOP: 0x000000ED

when i start my computer up, it asks what mode in which to start windows, whatever i pick this error comes up, blue screen with this info on it : UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
error STOP: 0x000000E

i cant get past it.... what can i do??

Hi,

Can be caused by using a 40 pin cable where you should be using an 80 pin
one.
