UNmapping a direct connect drive

George

I purchased a new computer with the Windows XP Pro OS.
I connected the new computer to the old one with a direct connect cable in
order to transfer data files from old to new.
I created a direct connect a new network connection in the CONTROL PANEL
area.
I mapped a drive on the old computer.
This created an entry in the MY COMPUTER area on my new computer. (Z on 'OLD
COMPUTER DESCRIPTION (OLD COMPUTER NAME)' (Z:)
I transferred the files.
I deleted the network connection in the CONTROL PANEL.
I can not get rid of the entry in MY COMPUTER though. I right clicked on it
thinking there was a delete command available but there isn't.
I searched and searched for an UNmapping article in Help & Support and on
the Microsoft Web Site but could find nothing.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this entry in the MY COMPUTER list?

Thank you.

I know you can not tell so I will be honest and tell you myself. My face is
red. I KNOW I right clicked on that entry in MY COMPUTER and then clicked
on DISCONNECT and I did it several times! Tonight, I did the same thing and
POOF! it went away. I just don't understand. :)

Thank you.
