Unknown hard error happens after booting from cd for reinstallation

There is an" unknown hard error, systemroot\ntdll.dll" messge with blue
screen when I booted from cd of Windows XP for reinstallation.

I have read the Knowledge Base for this problem (It suggested that
re-installation should be performed, but I encountered it when
re-installing), but still can not figure out what to do.

PS. The system is running OK now.
