Uninstalling Virus Protection Program

Hello! I'm having trouble uninstalling my current virus protection program.
The reason I'm trying to uninstall it is because it's not working =(. When I
go to the "Add/Remove Programs" and try to uninstall it; It doesn't work.
The uninstall program won't even come up. Also, I can't install another
virus program because it says the broken virus protection program is
installed on my computer still. If anyone could help me solve this problem
it would be most appreciated!

Ah yes, lol sorry! It's McAfee Virusscan Home Edition I believe..I'm surfing
the McAfee support page..but I'm not finding anything T.T
