Uninstall IE 7 Help

I have tried to no avail to uninstall IE 7. At one time it did show up in my
add remove programs and I uninstalled it. But, it won't uninstall completely.
When I try to install IE 6 it says that I have a newer version installed.
When I open IE and go to about internet explorer there is no version number,
cipher strength or product id. I have Firefox and I love it but some sites
will only allow you to use IE.

Try this:

If for some reason Windows Internet Explorer 7 does not appear in the
Add or Remove Programs, you should:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Click Tools | Folder Options
3. Click the View tab
4. Make sure the radio button next to Show hidden files and folders
is on
5. Click OK
6. Click Start, and then click Run
7. Type: %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe into the text box and
click Enter

IE7 questions should be asked in the internet explorer newsgroup. Look
through the extensive number of messages for one that matches your issue
before posting a new one.
