Unable to send photos from My Pictures

I have Windows XP, ATT for my ISP and use Yahoo for my email.
Something has changed and Yahoo does not open automatically and attach
smaller
pictures I have highlighted when I select "email these
pictures". The prompt to make the selected pictures
smaller appears and a file transfer takes place but
Yahoo no longer opens and I can't find the
reduced pictures anywhere. I can attach pictures and send
using my email but they are in the full size.

Anyone have a fix..thanks

I checked and my default email is AT&T Yahoo! Mail. After I choose make
pictures smaller a blank screen opens with the address
http://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?Subj=Emailing: DSC03564&Body=The message is ready to%, etc. etc

Thanks John. I'll keep looking. The frustrating thing is that it used to
work and then something changed (windows update???). I called ATT Help and
they referred me to Yahoo customer service. So far calling that number gives
me 'all circuits are busy at this time, try again later'.
