Unable to remove/quarantine TV Media Display

Using this for the first time & the windows defender dectected TV Media
Display as adware but I have been unable to remove or quarantine it. Any
suggestions?

Thanks Andy--I'd forgotten about that one. This issue is one that block
Service Pack 2 installs--that's a good one to remember when you see someone
stuck on SP1.

Per your suggestion, here's the result of the Defender 2 scan relating to
this item which returned a status of: "Failed, 0,800040005..."

I used the removal tool you suggested but it told me this spyware on my
system. The biggest prob I'm having is that IE keeps kicking in with unwanted
pop-ups.
