Unable to record project back to Mini DV Camcorder

Hi all, I'd appreciate some help with this before I throw
my camcorder in the bin and take up painting. I can't
convert my project back to my Mini DV Camcorder using MM2.
I can do all the other functions, capture, edit etc but
when it comes to send to Dv camera it goes through all the
motions and activates the camcorder the record light comes
on but there's no picture in the view finder and nothing
coverts to tape... I've tried several times and sat
through the saving and redcording process but I get the
same result each time.
Help me please, I'm desperate (I need to justify to my
wife the new PC I just bought)

Many European models of digital camcorder and perhaps Australasians models
too do NOT have the DV-in feature enabled - it's apparently some licensing
issue.

The first stop should be the digital camcorder manufacturer's support line
to see whether or not DV-in is actually enabled in your particularly make
and model of camcorder.
