Unable to receive attachments sending from Outlook

Jimmy Ho

My PC is running on Windows Vista SP1 and I am using Windows Mail as my mail
client.

Two of my colleagues have recently started using Outlook 2003 and Outlook
2007 respectively as their mail client (both of them running on an Windows
XP SP3 PC). It happened several times already that I was only able to
receive the text of their email messages, but not any attachments at all.
Their attachments are Word documents and PDF files.

It has never happened before when my colleagues were using OE6 as their
default mail client.

Please help.

My colleagues who are using Microsoft Outlook have not encountered any
problem, but it is me (using Windows Mail) that has encountered the problem.
Anyway, thank you for your information.

Jimmy,
You do not understand what Peter told you.
The problem is the incompatibility between Out look and Windows Mail.
Windows mail is UNABLE to recognize picture images originated from Outlook.
You are given the 2 options for the problem. Try them.

Also check that they are not sending with RTF format, as that renders
attachments unaccessible to users other than Outlook users. Tell them to
send via Plain text or HTML, but not RTF.
