Unable to open

I get the message "Cannot start Microsoft Office outlook. Unable to open
outlook window. the set of folders could not be opened."

First I restored the system to where I knew it was working. Then repaired
Outlook, then removed Outlook and reinstalled with the original disk and
updated as suggested. Still no start. Anyone got a suggestion.

When you reinstalled, your emails were probably still there, correct?
It was probably still using your previous email profile.

You'll have to back up your email if you can't stand to lose it. File>
Import, Export... and export everything to a .pst file Then after you
get your email working you can import it back (or just open it as an
archive File>Open>Outlook Data File.

But, to delete your profile and set up Outlook from scratch again, go
to Control Panel> Mail> Show Profiles, then highlight your profile
(probably called Outlook) then click Remove. You will now have to set
up Outlook all over again with your server info and all. Then, as I
said, you can open up your backup and still have your old email.
