Unable to login to cookie enabled sites

Hi,
This is a long shot but here goes...
We have recently bought a new dell pc with XP Mcafee firewall etc..
Anyway, we are unable to access any cookie enabled sites (hotmail, ebay,
etc...)

I am able to login to MSN Messenger and it shows me I have messages however
if i attempt to access the mail I am prompted to login again, the attempted
login then fails.....

When I attempt to login on ebay it simply returns me to the login page.

I have enabled cookies and I ahve checked the firewall settings and
everything seems to be set correctly.

Has anyone come across a similar problem?

Check the errors listed in Event Viewer. All firewall settings OK?

Has anyone come across a similar problem?

Oh, yeah... My bank. I fixed the situation by always keeping the cookies
for it and my ISP, of all places, in the cookies fodders AND in Internet
Explorer. It does take selective clean-up, though, to maintain them.
