Unable to Delete files from desktop just certain files

Sir
I am unable to delete or send to recyle bin 2 seperate files only from my
desk top, recieved message that reads
"Error Deleting file or folder:"
"Cannot delete Qvt1111e: It is being used by another person or program.
Close any programs that might be using the file and try again." This was
repeated for the 2nd file as well. Note it appears to have attached itself
to windows somehow???
closed all running progams, also searched to see what if any was relating to
these files and none found, Had no trouble with other files in the deleting
process except for these two files. need some help

Hi KS,

Try deleting them in Safe Mode.
Boot tapping the F8 key as BIOS info goes by.
At the Windows Advanced Options Menu select Safe Mode.
