ugh, ie6 won't remember my login settings

Ok, I'm still having the same problem. I check a box in some forum that says
automatically login me in everytime but when I leave and go back to the site
I have to reenter my information. Before, I would be logged into places like
myspace until I closed the browser window. This started after I updated ie6.
Is there anyway I can download an earlier version of IE6 or uninstall this
version somehow and reinstall? I don't have that option in add/remove
programs. Also, are there any advanced setting I could look at to make sure
they are correct?

This sounds like it's a cookie handling issue - normally when you have these
"automatically log me in" forms they set a cookie on your browser, if your
machine isn't storing it then it won't be there when you go back. Have you
got some software running that automatically deletes cookies? That's the
usual reason for seeing this behaviour.
