Trying to save pictures

Hello,
Maybe someone can help me out here....
I have a problem saving pictures from the internet - they all come in a
bmp-format!
I have previously been able to save them as they are - jpgs as jpgs, gifs as
gifs etc. Now it doesn't work.

Anyone can help me fix this?

Hi there... I had this very problem a few days ago and was
able to fix part of my IE problem(s) going to this
