Trying to save a file but always saves as a .bmp

I am still having this problem when I try to save a pic
that is a .jpeg file and explorer only allows me to save
as a .bmp. I cleared all my temp internet cash online and
offline. I cleared out all damaged files like the
microsoft solution article states. Still no luck. I don't
know what else to do.

Internet explorer saves images as bmp only.

The solution is very simple. Clear the Temporary Internet Folder.

Open Internet Explorer
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
When you are prompted to delete all temporary Internet files, click OK.
