Trouble opening Word From Internet Explorer

Hello,

I have Windows XP SP2 and Internet explorer 6.0

When I attempt to open a Microsoft Word document from IE - I get a small
rectangle on the top left corner of my window with a red cross in it. I am
able to open the same document through other browsers such as Firefox. Can
someone please help me troubleshoot this problem?

If no joy, or you don't have MS Word installed, get Word Reader:
