Opening PDF File

Using ME and Internet Explorer 6.0, when I try to open a pdf file, I get a
red "X" in a box in the upper left corner with a blank screen and the status
bar notes it is done, and the address bar shows it is a pdf file.

How do I access this file?

you probably need acrobat reader ( i prefer version5 )

I'm having the same problem on one of my win 98 se machines. the problem
just started. I hove both acrobat 5.0 & acrobat reader 6 on my machine.
Where is the setting within IE that associates pdf files to acrobat?
