Trouble accessing Internet Explorer

Suddenly when i click on internet explorer shortcut i get
following error message (this same error message is start to appear when i
also click on my documents as well.

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.
Then I click on the error report:

Error Signature:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName:
vx2.dll

ModVer: 0.3.1.6 Offset: 000103d0



Then when I click on the technical information about error report it says

Exception Information: and it is follow by screeds of info with a little box
that then says:

The following files will be include in this error report

C:\DOCUME~1\MIKEHO~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER48.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

Enable IE functionality by disabling 3rd party browser extensions, remove the parasite and re-enable the 3rd party extensions. ControlPanel > Internet Options > Advanced.
