Traveling and Syncronizing Outlook

I have a small home network, two desktop PC's (mine and wife's) and
printers, and now a new laptop, all connected via router and Windows
networking.
I will be traveling occassionally and taking my Laptop with me (Office
2003 Pro). Is there any way to syncronize Outlook on my Desktop PC (at home)
wiith my Laptop, so when I travel, I can log in and get my e-mail and when I
return it will be the same on both computers. (I had that with prior
company, on an Exchange server, VPN, and could Syncronize, but don't know if
it's possible in my current situation).
Thank for your assistance.

Search for "synchronize" at www.slipstick.com for some options.

You could get a hosted Exchange account, too....they're becoming quite
common. Then you could use cached mode, RPC over HTTP, etc.
