transferring slideshow to webpage

A co-worker of mine was asked to create a slideshow on our company webpage.
We are uncertain of how to do this, but we are entertaining the idea of
creating the slideshow in Powerpoint and transferring it to the webpage. Is
this possible, and if so, how?
