Transferring files from old PC with USB cable

I am going to be transferring files/settings from an old computer to a new
one using F.A.S.T. (File and Settings Transfer Wizard).

In the past I have used a NULL modem cable, but this time I will have to use
a USB cable.

So my question is a simple one. What is the equivalent USB cable to a NULL
modem cable? Is it the "USB 2.0 Bridge Cable"?

If yes, will it work transferring from a Win98 SE computer to a WinXP SP2
computer?

Finally, which stores sell this cable? For example, Staples and/or Office
Depot?

Buy an RJ45 Crossover cable at Circuit City or Best Buy for about 5 bucks.
Radio Shack has them also.
